Can you please explain to me what exactly is anti-American? Because all while Trump was campaigning he was spewing some pretty anti-American rhetoric and everyone was ok with it. His slogan “make America great again” implies that there is something wrong with it that needs to be fixed so it can be great again. Trump called America and it’s government a disaster and laughing stock that only he could fix.

I’m confused. Why was it ok for Trump to trash America and point out what he perceived were the country’s flaws, but when women of color point out it’s flaws then they need to go back to where they came from.

Is it not their job to find solutions to the issues that plague our country? Were they not elected by the people of their respective states to address the problems of their constituents?

To be able to point out and address problems in our nation without worrying about being targeted and bullied or worse is part of a democracy. Or are we all supposed to just turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to all the injustices and inequality that a large portion of the population faces?
